Terms of service

RULES  & REGULATIONS

In order to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests, we have established the following rules of use in accordance with Article 9 of the Accommodation Agreement. We ask for your cooperation in adhering to these rules.
Please be especially mindful that if you do not abide by these rules, we may be forced to refuse your stay and may require you to cover any damages incurred by our facility.

1. About guest room use

  1. Please refer to the evacuation route map posted on the back of the guest room entrance door.

  2. While you are in your room, and especially when you go to sleep, please be sure to lock the first floor entrance door, back door, one hinged door in the living room, two sliding doors, the sliding door and two windows in the standard twin room, the dining room window, the bathroom sliding door, the terrace sliding door and three windows in the second floor loft, the terrace sliding door and two windows in the Valley Studio, the washroom window, and the bathroom sliding door.

  3. When there is a knock on the door or the doorbell rings, please check who it is before opening the door. Also, if you see a suspicious person visiting, please do not open the door carelessly and contact us.

  4. Smoking is prohibited within the facility. Please smoke in the designated areas. If there are any signs or smells of smoking, you will be required to pay for deodorization and business damages.

  5. Please do not use fires, candles, etc. for heating or cooking in the guest rooms or corridors without permission from the facility. Cooking in the guest rooms is also strictly prohibited.

  6. Do not hang clothes or dry laundry on the lampshade.

  7. It is prohibited to use this facility for commercial purposes (exhibitions, etc.) without permission, or for any other purposes other than accommodation.

  8. Please do not move any fixtures in the guest room or make any significant changes to the current state of the room, such as installing fixtures or remodeling the room, without the permission of this facility. In the unlikely event that any fixtures are lost or damaged, you will be required to pay the actual cost. Please do not take small items or fixtures from the guest room out of the room. Also, please do not place anything by the window that may damage the appearance of this facility.

  9. A long-term accommodation contract does not give rise to any leasehold rights, residential rights, or other legal rights under the House Tenancy Act or other laws related to residence.

  10. We strictly prohibit anyone other than registered guests from staying at the hotel.

  11. Minors will not be allowed to stay alone, regardless of whether they have parental permission or not.

2. Facility keys

  1. When leaving your room during your stay, please be sure to take your facility key with you and make sure that not only the front door but also the doors and windows on each floor are locked.

  2. Please return the facility key to the staff when you leave the facility.

  3. If you lose your key to this facility, please contact Residence Support. You will be asked to use a spare key until check-out, but to prevent the risk of theft or trespassing if the lost key falls into the hands of malicious individuals, the entire cylinder will be replaced. These costs will be borne by the guest.

3. Payment etc.

  1. Payment must be made in advance by credit card when making a reservation. If, for some reason, it is determined that the credit card payment has not been made in advance upon arrival, or if any charges arise during your stay, you may be asked to pay in cash. Furthermore, if payment is not made even after being requested by our facility, you may be asked to vacate the room.

  2. Even if payment is received from a person other than the guest, payment must be made in advance by credit card.

  3. We will not pay for shopping expenses, tickets, taxi fares, postage stamps, luggage shipping, etc.

4. Use of internet communication (Wi-Fi) within the facility

  1. When using the internet within our facility, please refer to "How to set your Wi-Fi password" in the "Facility Guide." Wi-Fi communication is free of charge.

  2. We are not responsible for any damage or trouble that occurs when using the internet communications within our facility, nor are we responsible for any internet sites that you access using this service.

  3. If you cause damage to a third party, you shall resolve any dispute with that third party at your own responsibility and expense.

  4. The Facility may temporarily suspend the use of this Service without prior notice or consent from the Customer.

5. Valuables

  1. Please use the safe (free of charge) in the storage area of each guest room to store cash, securities, and other valuables during your stay. Please note that items such as art, antiques, and furs cannot be stored in the safe. The safe can only be used during your stay. If you leave the room without permission while the safe is still in use, you may be charged a lock replacement fee and a storage fee. We may also be held responsible for any loss of items stored in the safe.

  2. Any items lost within our facility will be stored by our facility for a certain period of time, after which they will be handled in accordance with the Lost Property Act.

6. About using the parking lot

  1. When using the parking lot, please let us know the type and number of cars in advance. The parking lot can accommodate up to three standard passenger cars (free of charge). Please contact us in advance if you will be parking more than three cars.

  2. Parking is available only to registered guests and their companions during their stay.

  3. Do not leave valuables or other items in your car while it is parked.

  4. We are not responsible for any accidents, loss, theft, etc. that occur within the parking lot.

  5. Please refrain from parking on the street.

7. Regarding gangs, gang members, and cases where there is a risk of offending public order

  1. We will not allow designated organized crime groups or their members, etc., under the " Law for the Prevention of Unjust Acts by Organized Crime Group Members" (enacted March 1, 1992), to use our facility. (If we discover that you are a designated organized crime group after making a reservation or during your stay, we will immediately refuse you entry.)

  2. We will not allow anti-social groups or members of anti-social groups (such as organized crime groups and extremist groups, and their members) to use our facilities. (If we discover that you are a member of such a group after making a reservation or during your stay, we will immediately refuse you entry.)

  3. If violence, threats, extortion, intimidating unreasonable demands, or similar behavior is observed, you will be asked to immediately refrain from using our facilities. We will also ask anyone who has previously engaged in similar behavior to refrain from using our facilities.

  4. If we determine that a user of our facility is unable to ensure their own safety due to mental or physical weakness, or due to loss of composure due to drugs or alcohol, or if they are deemed to pose a risk of danger, fear, or anxiety to other users, we will immediately refuse them entry.

  5. If you cause offense or inconvenience to others by shouting, singing, or other noisy behavior within the facility or guest rooms, or if you engage in gambling or other behavior that violates public order and morals, we will immediately refuse you entry.If you engage in any other behavior similar to those listed above, we will refuse you entry.

8. Home Security Systems

  1. The facility is equipped with an ALSOK home security system to prevent intrusion by suspicious individuals during extended absences. However, the system will remain disabled during your stay (including when you leave the facility temporarily). Thank you for your understanding. If you have any questions about the home security system, please contact Residence Support.

9. Please refrain from bringing in or engaging in any of the following items that may cause inconvenience to other guests .

  1. Pets such as animals and birds (excluding assistance dogs)

  2. Gunpowder, volatile oil, and other ignitable or inflammable materials.

  3. Something that gives off a foul odor.

  4. Firearms, swords, stimulants, and other items prohibited by law from being possessed.

  5. Gambling or other acts that disrupt public morals, or speech or behavior that disturbs other customers.

  6. Advertising, distribution of promotional materials, sale of goods, solicitation, etc.

  7. Taking photographs within the facility without the permission of the facility, and using photographs taken within the facility for commercial purposes.

  8. Regarding the use of mobile phones, any conduct that offends or inconveniences other customers, such as talking in inappropriate places or talking loudly, is prohibited.

10. To ensure you enjoy playing the grand piano, please observe the following points.

  1. Please refrain from using this facility if you have no experience playing the grand piano.

  2. If the child playing is an elementary school student or younger, a parent or guardian must accompany them.

  3. Please note that opening and closing the lid or roof is dangerous and should only be done by an adult or guardian.

  4. Performances are limited to the hours of 10:00-19:00. Please keep windows and doors closed when performing. Please be considerate of campers in the campground.

  5. If there are any complaints from neighbors or campers about the piano playing, we will ask you to stop playing.

11. Use of the Jacuzzi

  1. Please use the towels provided in the bathroom.

  2. Bringing in food and drinks is not permitted.

  3. Smoking is prohibited in the jacuzzi.

  4. Please wear a swimsuit when using the jacuzzi.

  5. Please take a shower in the bathroom before using the jacuzzi to keep it hygienic.

  6. Intoxicated persons are not permitted to use the facility.

  7. Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Children are not allowed to use the facility alone.

  8. Children between the ages of 16 and 13 must be supervised by an adult.

12. Changes to the Rules

  1. These rules are considered standard terms and conditions under the Civil Code, and each provision of these rules will be changed in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Code if it is in the general interest of customers or if there is a reasonable reason that such a change is necessary.

  2. Any changes to these rules will be published on the "Accommodation Terms and Conditions/Usage Rules" on our designated website and in the "Facility Guide" available within the facility, and will come into effect from the date specified at the time of publication.
